Barhama Cham

The singer was named after the divine Ibrahim Nyass, a Senegalese Sufi leader who also was given the title Barhama meaning "the peace giver or, son of peace".

According to Cham, the meaning of the name later came to him and helped him solidify the activism in his life and career so far. His golden voice and vocal power amazes crowds and makes him one of the country's finest live performers.
